Lessons Learned

Here's what I've learned on the process so far. The cheap way isn't easy and the easy way isn't cheap!

I actually have a little blaster I once used on a dump truck bed but do not recommend doing it yourself cause it creates an almighty mess and is not very fun.

The 3m stripping wheels work great bit wont fit everywhere
I hate stripper but use it where I need to
Doing it yourself is tedious and time consuming and I would of had mine blasted but I would have to pay a fortune to have it trucked to the nearest place and back

I can see where it would be a real time saver though

I tell you what, send me your HJ47 and I will take care of the restoration. Granted, there will be a fee, so the vehicle you get may be a tad shorter and run on gasoline instead, but do not worry!! That's just your imagination at work:D

Sandblasting is a very good way to get down to the base metal, then anti-rust the hell out of it.
