Maybe? 1UZFE is a v8 yes. It's what the 2UZFE was born from a number of years later. 1UZFE is 4.0 litre displacement. Very popular engine for swaps in a number of sports cars, trucks, etc. Very well engineered long lasting motor. Has been put in lots of LJ78s in fact. More of a revvy motor than the stroked 2UZ. Also lighter due to aluminum block.

My Aussie bosses say they prefer the hatch. The window frame of the doors are all you can see out the rear view mirror, big blind spot backing up apparently.

Bah. Who looks out the back window?

People back there are just pissed off because you're driving too slow and it smells bad.

I'd rather have the doors too. The 3 step process just to put something in the back gets old.
Much prefer the arrangement the 70 series have.
