OK, a web site that will remain nameless til later has TJM skid Plates for silly low prices. TJM skids are 3mm. Does anyone know if they are sturdy enough to offer real underbody protection? Will they mount up to my Sahara Bar Bumper? Given the price I am seeing, these cannot be anything like the SLEE skids (but the Slees wont fit with my Borla exhaust (according to a post by Loud). At about 200 bucks I am willing to do some cutting if necessary to make these fit.

I am about to purchase them through Jonesys' off-road. I will post up some pictures of them when I get them. I am buying them so I have something under the rig at GSMTR. Even at 3MM they are stronger than the plastic thing underneath that was under my truck. It's scattered about at URE right now. If they are flimsy I can weld some cheap plate steel to them and call it a day.

Nope its the one listed in this thread.:) When I searched for TJM skid plates I never got that thread, so I thought there might be an issue with a fast sellout if these were grade A and unknown. Since they had already been the source of some discussion I figure the sellout risk is substantially mitigated.

FYI, these don't replace the front skid plate. From another poster that has installed these you need to do a little modification of the rear transmission guard plate (which only covers 2/3rds of the rear area if that makes sense).

Hopefully I will have the free time to install these in a couple of weeks.
