I came across this neat key fob upgrade.

YMD2 2, 3 and 4 Button - Toyota Keyless Start Round Button

These fit the Toyota Smart Keys offered on many vehicles from the mid 2000's into the 2010's.

Still no love for the 2106-2021 LC’s!
I just wish there was a fob protector like that that had a slider to cover the buttons so I wouldn’t accidentally hit them while the fob is in my pocket.

I just replaced one of my broken/cracked OEM fobs with one of these.

Good stuff. A bit overpriced for what it is, but good enough.

I didn’t read the product description close enough and thought the case was metal. It’s not. It’s plastic, same as OEM

Maybe the 2016-2017 fobs look like that but my 2018 is a whole other style. Interesting that product page says 2016-2018 compatibility but in the product filters it only has Land Cruiser 16-17 as a search filter. Been waiting for a version for the newer fobs but I think he stated on here previously it wasn't gonna happen due to limited market and not enough time to do it or something to that effect
