Key fob blinking but no opening or closing (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone, proud 200 series owner here. I recently have not been able to lock or unlock my car with the key fob. The battery has been replaced and the light blinks on the key as well as the door locks work that are on the inside. It’s a 2013 model with 115k on the odometer but I seriously need some help if anyone has a solution or has experienced this issue.

What brand battery did you use?

I replaced my FOB batteries with brand new no name amazon ones, and had similar issues, mostly sporadic, and wouldnt lock or unlock unless standing 10ft from it.

I replaced the batteries with brand Energizer, and havent had an issue since.
