For one quarter the cost of the dealer to update my TPMS I bought the tools to do it myself. THX great find!

I spent the extra $20 and sprang for the more expensive version with the newer firmware (Techstream v10.30.029, firmware v2.0.4) myself.

The v1.4.1 firmware doesn't support the K-line protocol, which means it won't work with 2005 and older models (not that that matters for my 2013), and the v2 firmware is supposedly faster. In the end it probably won't matter but given the number of issues I've had in my life with firmware bugs I didn't want to mess with anything but the latest version.

Now, if I could just figure out how to jailbreak the version of QNX running the infotainment system...

Beside seatbelt buyer, I have as well turned off the steering wheel tilt away and outside solution sensitivity to a higher level. Key fob programming instructions are on the small cd that came with the cable.

Good stuff, ordered one and "hacked" some things yesterday with success.
Anybody knows how to turn of the warning when you drive with the rear (upper) hatch open? How about correcting the speedometer for larger wheels/tires?

Reading the Ebay post it says they can send you the info on the disc if needed. My laptop does not have a CD drive as most of them are going away from it. Anyone else used it like this without the disc?

Could you disable the rear seat side airbag with it? (So the seats can be removed without triggering an airbag warning)

Yes, I have used my desktop to transfer files to memory key. Then ran it from memory key on my laptop. No issues.

Finally got around to disabling the seat belt warnings. I need to be able to take off my seat belt in some wheeling situations to get a better view out the window.

I had some difficulties at first. It wasn't obvious where the OBDII connector was and when I found it, it was quite easy to use D'uh

Then like a guy I didnt read the instructions from the disk in the readme file. Once I did, everything went smoothly

Nice product. have to remember to remove it and reinstall when you exceed the amount of eval tries. I couldn't find the count item listed in the read me file

You don't have re-install. Just override again the files you had to do after the install.

Reset my Tire pressure sensors and eliminated the driver seat belt warning. Definitely worth the price for those two things.
Any find anything else that was an improvement??

My 2008 does windows from outside the truck when turned off...so you can let the heat out.

Are you talking about a fob window ability that is different from that?

My truck (2011) wasn't programmed to do that.

I had the dealer do it also when I first bought it. Great feature in the summer months to let the heat out. My sunroof also opens too.

Seems like all manufacturers do that with their vehicles. When I had my Acura I opted for the Python remote starter instead of the factory model because it would do just that. And if you inserted the key once you got inside and turned it to "on" the vehicle wouldn't shut down.

Despite being in Chicago I used the remote starter much less this winter than on our old Acura just because of the automatic shutoff when the door is opened. Almost easier to walk outside, get in, push start, then get out and take the keys with me. The vehicle keeps running but can't be driven without the key and I can go inside and wait for it to warm up.

Safety thing so no one steals your car if the door was unlocked.

Had a couple of Chevy's and the remote start left the engine on when the door was opened, also had the possibility to remote start with the phone, that was awesome.
