I can mount them for free, but to balence them, don't have that yet. I usually just go to a big-O.

I'm lazy. I just go to Discount, though they have been interesting lately.

x2 on Discount, I know the manager at one which makes it easier to deal with.

Why don't you share the hook-up on this deal?

Jarred, just forget the tires, I hear riding on rims is going to be the new trend.

I'd agree with Discount. They have a good road hazard guarantee as well, depending on what you're going to use the tires for... They'll also match Costco, Sams, and whoever else. Lots of locations for those free balancing and rotations too.

I might go this route! Think i would rather spend the money on the cruiser then the daily driver...then sense and responsibility set in!

One advantage to Discount is they are a national chain. You can purchase your tires here, and get your flats fixed for free before crossing the border in Yuma.

I like Costco for passenger car tires. They install your tires while you shop and their road hazard/mounting used to be cheaper than Discount, but I don't know anymore. However, I think you choices are limited to Michelin and BFG tire brands at the Eubank Costco.

Michelin and BFG are the same company...

If someone wants to talk to the guy I know, he is at the Discount on Paseo, West of San Pedro. His name is Brian and he is one of the managers there. A good dude and easy to deal with.
Steve brought up a good point, free balance and rotation. I know that Ive had mine done at least 5 times since I bought it, never any issues!

Just make sure the pucture isn't anywhere remotely close to the shoulder of the tire or those f***ers won't fix it. They'll pro-rate the tire and try to sell you 3 more since the wear is more than 2/32s from new. I will never buy from discount again. I've taken them 3 flats on tires I bought from them, one on a cruiser, 2 on the sube, they refused to fix any of them. I went to the shop next door and they fixed them all. One was on the shoulder, one was an inch in from the shoulder, and one I stuck a plug in. All of them they said they couldn't repair for liability or some BS.

I'll pay some other shop to fix my occasional flats if I have to, I'll never buy from them.

Lots of places match prices and have lifetime rotate and balance. Personally, on a passenger car I haven't found it much benefit. I rotate my tires every time I change the oil and staying in balance hasn't been an issue. Just replaced a set of Kumhos with over 70k on the sube and never had them re-balanced, even after the 2 flat repairs.

Are you being sarcastic? Serio, I have some hommies doing this $chit? Neon lites underneath were so yesterday, sparks flying out are so much more the bombdigged (Did I get that right Ash?).

Oh and another thing, passenger car tires can be so cheap that one could simply buy four tires from the internet and have someone install them and forget about it. If you have a serious flat that can't be fixed, you could simply buy another one from the internet, LOL.

My last set of V rated tires came from the 'net at a whopping $56/each! With that price, I thought about buying five and keep the extra as an unmounted spare!!! Sumotomo HTR+

Ended up going with Big O. National chain support, $100 off when you by four tires, and all the bells and whistles included. I did spend a bit more then i wanted too, but hopefully it will be a good wearing tire. Thanks again for the info!
