Hi,
Could i please get the recommended inflation pressure for P275/70/18 General Grabber APT Load index 116, for a 2013 Lexus LX570?

Thank You
The resident expert will be able to give it to you exactly, but I have those same tires on a 200
Series and 33 - 34 psi is the sweet spot

That's good to hear that's the sweet spot for you too, I have the same tires on my 200 and have been adjusting back and forth. ~34 has been the best so far, 36 was ok, 38-40 without additional load in the truck was awful, ride was significantly affected.

@gaijin
Tire pressure for a 2016 LC with 275/70/18 Cooper discoverer AT3 XLT? No mods lifts or aftermarket stuff, Straight stock vehicle. Thanks

I had to look those up to find they are the LT-Metric LT275/70R18 125/122S Load Range E tires.

The RCTIP (Recommended Cold Tire Pressure) for those tires on your LC200 is 41psi F/R.

HTH

Thank you kind sir!
I may as well ask another two if you don't mind.

1. 2007 Toyota Tundra limited crew cab 5.7L.
Tires are Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT LT295/70/17

2. 1999 Toyota LC all stock except Iron man 2' lift, Nitrogas shocks. No extra mods heavy bumpers etc
Tires are Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT LT285/75/16

Just put a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S in size 285/70/17 (Rock Warriors) on my 2013 LX570.

@gaijin - could I trouble you for the RCTIP for these tires? At 36 psi cold, the ride is great. Just wondering what the ideal is.

Thank you kindly in advance!

I put in wrong wheel size on Tundra. Its a 18

Pretty sure he only offers this service for 200 series.

Luckily, it's not rocket surgery.

I'm not sure I trust that website. I changed sizes on my Boxster. I ran a set of the aftermarket at factory with no noticeable wear or ride issues.

Factory
32 PSI Front - 235/35/19 87 Y
37 PSI Rear - 265/35/19 94 Y

Aftermarket per TireSize.com
26 PSI Front - 245/40/18 97 Y
31 PSI Rear - 275/40/18 99 Y

Yup, you're right to question the website recommendations. What you did was correct to use the factory pressures for the aftermarket set.

Generally, the factory pressures establishes a floor regardless of the replacement tire size load rating. If required by the load rating of the replacement tire, may need to go up in pressures. Though even that can and should be assessed/tailored as the factory tire pressure is not only established on load rating.

I should have caveated posting the link with “I’m on team don’t run lower pressure than your door jam says”. Which that calculator doesn’t subscribe to.

On my stock 2015 LC I just got new shoes and rubber today. Cooper's newly released Discoverer Road & Trail AT which replaces the 4S.
The specs are 275/65R18 116H 620AB SL 2756lbs

Though slightly narrower / taller than the stock tires knowing the RCTIP would be appreciated. I believe it should still be 33 psi. But want to confirm. TIA.

I was going to ask the tech what he set the pressure at and why but forgot. I looked on the way home, five tires five different pressures.

The RCTIP for a Standard Load (SL) ISO-Metric 275/65R18 116H tire on your LC200 is indeed 33psi F/R.

Hi @gaijin . Could I get your recommendation for the tire pressure for Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 - 285/60 R18. This is for a 2016 Land Cruiser.

TIA!

The correct size for that tire is 285/60R18 116H SL - it is an ISO-Metric Standard Load tire with a Load Index of 116 and a Speed Ratting of H.

The RCTIP (Recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressure) for that 285/60R18 116H SL tire on your LC200 is 33psi Front/Rear.
