Hi guys any body know of a good tinted window kit? need to get this done before it gets hot:) would like to do this myself or with a mud buddy who would like to lend some experience.
also my gmc headliner has fallen (i know its not a toyota and thats part of the problem, I'm selling it soon) but would like to fix it before then... and ideas/funny remarks enjoyed:D
thanks
Kyle

3M would be your best bet in the adhesive department. I know of a mobile tinter that is very reasonable if you can't find a mudder that does it for hobby/living. Pm me for his info if you would like.

hmmmmm

3m any auto parts place will have it???
ok but the headliner is still attached all (like an unopened clam) around the edge just fallen in the center no place to spray, I guess I could cut the headliner and then spray it and hope I get a good clean glueing?:meh:

thanks

the diy tink kit only goes back to 84 and I have an 82, but I sent them a note

Why not peel it from one side instead of cutting it? Then start from the furthest area from where you peeled it and work your way back to where you peeled it. No, not all auto parts stores carry 3m, I would look for a Sherwin Williams store that supplies auto paints (not all of them do).

Try Tempe Sales, likely to get good advice on how to use.

Tempe Sales Co - Google Maps

Pull the headliner
Strip the old skin off and put a new headliner material on it . I have much experience in this process. The hardest part is pulling the headliner itself.
Tempe sales has the new material and glue you need . Call me f you need help
You can do it for under 100 bucks
I may have material from Tempe sales . Probably enough for the whole project . I am looking for pics and will post them here
thanks
