As the flywheel turns clockwise (normal operating direction), which timing mark shows up first in the window (bb or line)?

Like so many others have said (and I have just done again), remove the cover down below. There are four bolts, two to the rear and one on each side.

Once the cover is off, it's easy to find the BB and in my case, the timing line about an inch or so counter clockwise of the bb. Paint it white or another color that is easy to spot. It'll make life much easier for you and it only takes about 10 minutes from start to finish.

Which is TDC the BB or the line.

TDC is the line. You are setting to the BB, which is 7 degrees.
