we have the timing case/oilpump seal leaking on the HJ60 AM/MVturbo and i cant quite recce my manual as to whether the head has to come off? For clarity, this is the rear timing case seal and the manual section ends at the end of the timing gear removal with the case appearing in a different--- i really got my finger and toes crossed here..
Also, jussst after we bought it, after filter & oil changes we got higher than normal oil pressure, 54-76 measured with a external gauge. Would this be the reason why the seal has blown? If it is where do i start making sure the OP has no blockages...
incidentally - has anyone had probs with a leak from that oil line that runs around the front of the engine...
