So if been working on my 74 fj40 for several years now and I need to get this beast on the road. I’ve been struggling to have the time or get motivated when I do have the time to work on it. However that being said there are some things I’m not familiar with and for the reason on starting this thread. I have things from electrical to mechanical that need to be addressed to get it going. A large majority of it’s done but just need help in certain areas. Any help would be much appreciated. I will start posting areas I need help on when I have the time. Thanks

Do you have the means to hire someone to help you get over the finish line?

Many times on projects i need an outside voice telling me "done is better than perfect". Its not so much that I fuss over every small detail, i just flat out won't do something unless I know it is being done right, and up until recently i've just been unwilling to pay someone to do something for me. I bought a rental house recently and have it rented to a good friend and he has really helped me with the mental aspect of tackling home improvement projects. They've all turned out great even though I am learning as I go. Just a thought, but maybe some outside eyes and opinions would be helpful in person, even if you're paying for them, not just via the forum.

I have someone local tell me that he has a shop and I believe is willing to help. I’ve only talked to him twice over the phone but never in person. He’s on this forum so maybe I could give that a shot.

The main things I need to work on is the brakes, clutch, vacuum lines, and the only thing electrical for now is the cluster lights.

So I would to start with the vacuum lines and would like help to know what goes where and what can be plugged. My setup is a 77 2f with a 75 carb. I also have a 2f manifold but don’t remember what year it’s from and a 78 dizzy I believe. Below are some photos on areas I need help on that are circled. Thanks
