This one has had that sill replaced when the quarters were done. I'll give it all a close look when I'm out there
 
Quick update: the deal is done and Otis the 1976 FJ40 is on my trailer. Staying the night here in CO, then back to UT in the morning. Very happy with this one, not perfect but sound.

Shout out to @Phrog for the smooth deal and for taking good care of Otis for the last 15 years.

Once things settle down a bit I’ll get a build thread going for Otis, but I wanted to close out this thread with a big THANK YOU to everyone that had suggestions, linked to listings, brought up things I should think about, commented, liked, and followed along. It helped, kept me motivated, and I learned. In the end I’m happy with how things ended up and am ready for the adventure.

I’m sure I’ll get frustrated down the road, these old vehicles are equal parts wonderful and cantankerous. I’ve certainly learned that the hard way with my old British cars.
