I’m about to install new rear springs on my ‘99 100 series and need some opinions on wheels. I’m installing OME 2865’s, oem shocks and adjusting factory torsion bars. I’m keeping the truck stock as far as exterior accessories. Occasionally will load up for a beach run or camping but nothing crazy just kids and dog.
I’m torn between the Method MR705 in titanium 17x8.5 +35mm or the Nomad Convoy in utility gray 17x8.5 +25mm. I think I’m leaning towards the methods but would like some input/ opinions. I won’t be using any spacers, just extensions for center caps. Will be running 285/70r17 KO3. Truck is all original ‘99 in River Rock.
Let me know you’re thoughts!

If it was mine I wouldn't bother with the OME coils, just throw some 30mm spacers in there and adjust the front to match. As for wheels I'd go +35 with lighter weight C load 285/75/17's (34's).

Of those two I prefer the optics of the wheel with the squared holes. I put later model 100 Series OEM 18” wheels on mine and have always championed them as the best looking wheels on a 100.

Yeah I considered the spacers but I already have the coils. It should essentially get me the same height, right? And have an added benefit when I load up the rear on occasion. Also, would the 34s fit? From some research here I feel like I would need to trim

I'm not familiar with OME part numbers so I couldn't say for sure but my guess is they'll give you a lot more than 30mm. 34's on +35mm will just need the pinch welds flattened but that's very simple.

I’m also replacing some worn out rear sway bar links, does anyone with 865s think I need extended? Or is 1.5” negligible
