New skinny 33" tire sizes for 18" wheels?

Curious to hear your reasoning on that. I’m not super well versed in all of this. Still learning.
the KO3 235/80-18 shows the following:

8" will technically work, but is on the very outside edge of what the tire was designed for. Optimally, 6.5-7" rim for that narrow of a tire to have optimal designed sidewall flex.

Maybe I’ll pick up a set of Tundra steelies and then I won’t have to care about scratching the wheels? Why doesn’t anyone make a 255/80r18 tire? Ugh… or a 5x150 17x8” wheel with factory (or near) offset? I want pizza cutters without having to drop too much money on rock warriors that still need to be refinished.
I’ve been looking for plain steel wheels for my 100. Have you found a source? Ideally 18 x 8

I ended up buying 2nd hand 17" TRD Rock Warriors. However, Tundra Steelie 18s are much cheaper and easier to find. Still waiting on the tread on my current tires to run out, but at that time will install 285/70r17 Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws in C load.

If I had to do it all again, I'd find some 16" early model LC100 wheels, refinish them in whatever color I liked, and slap on 255/80r16 Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws in C load. I still may end up doing this, as I'm considering an LX570 for my wife and I'd probably install the TRD Rock Warriors on it over my LC100.
