Great to hear it worked for you too.

Just a followup on my initial success. After using the workaround to raise the height of the steering wheel, when I turned off the ignition the "auto" positioning kicked in and raised and retracted the wheel. I thought everything was back working! But no, and now the workaround no longer works. The wheel is a little high and further back than I like, but can put up with it.
I'll go back under the dash and check if that last kick-in of the auto positioning where both motors worked momentarily, might have blown the 20a fuse.
Cheers

I hope you get it working. I had the auto feature disabled to save the motors several years ago but still had the telescope go out.

Nope. Dead as now. I had the shroud off at the time too and with the wheel fully retracted it was a bugger to get back on, but I got there with the right swear words.
My 300 arrives in 7 months so I’ll look at doing the motor replacements before I sell. Some good videos here make it look easy. Haha.
I’m still better off than before doing your work around.
Cheers

Motor replacement is easy, just need to match their positions to the existing motors.

I'm sure there's one, I just found the motors and figured it out. You'll need a 5 or 6 mm hex for the tilt motor, it sits under the column near the wheel. The telescope motor is back under the instrument panel and is harder to get to but I felt easier to take out.

I'm sure someone has posted a proper how to on this site.
