hahah i'm having a really hard time to resist!!
That muffler is nice and flat - good for ground clearance. Unlike the medieval cannon Toyota fitted. I put extractors on my 80 recently, but now the rest of the system is wanting an upgrade. Hopefully I can get something decent down here.
I have this muffler on my Heep, and it's extremely loud, although it does sound good. If its quieter on an 80, then i may have to move it over. Anyone want to post video so we can hear?

Its the 2 1/2 in and 2 1/2 out one, correct? You do the offset inlet/outlet, or offset inlet/centered outlet?

I had one on, liked how it sounded at first, but really reved up it sounds not quite ricey, but sorta ricey. I took it off and put a tubo muffler on. I still have the thrush in the garage, and was considering putting it back on the other day cause the seams on the turbo mufler aren't holding up, and there is a rattling sound in the Thrush. Like the baffels on the inside have come loose. Just a single data point...

Yeah, thats correct. I did the offset inlet/centered outlet.
I'm sure there's been a couple HPs added due to the increased air flow, but my 80 has been driving better because I just seafoamed it. So it is kinda of difficult for me atleast, to tell a real noticeable difference.
I don't think you'd really be able to notice it anyway. Going from 150 to 220 is one thing, but going from 220 to 230 on a 6,000 lb truck you won't feel it.
