Throttle Adjustment Procedure - 95'-97'?

Does anyone know if the 80 Series Throttle Adjustment Procedure in the tech section applies to 95' - 97' transmissions? The throttle adjustment procedure states - "I don't know if it will work with the later (1995 - 1997) transmission or not" (link below).

I have a 95 and followed those instructions when reconnecting my throttle cable. All parts in question appeared to be the same in my engine as in the instructions. After reconnect, engine and trans behavior has been the same as prior to the work.

I also followed these instructions when adjusting the throttle. You might have to play around with it for awhile until you get the desired distance between the two in the picture and the desired idle/shift points.
