We’re sort of at a stopping point for a while. I need a sign (or not), the rest of the building painted, and lots of small things here and there, but we’re pretty much up and running, furiously working on some top secret sh*t.

This place is dope - a little sanctuary of peace hiding in plain sight along this dirty stretch of Memphis history.

Another visual distraction before we head back into the rabbit hole. This is the last of the motors started at the original carport lab...

It’s an early 2F with the dome pistons and open chambered head.

The pistons for these motors have long been discontinued from Toyota, but I found a NOS set of (also discontinued) high quality Japanese aftermarket pistons a while back and had them squirreled away.

Now it’s back in its crate to be shipped home to Reno where it will soon be controlled by some sweet self-learning AI technology.

1) Me finding a double yolk in one of the eggs for my breakfast burrito
2) Top secret mission in plain sight to the Summer Avenue Alien Workshop
