Obviously it’s too hot and humid to do much outside so I just received these gas nozzles a few hours ago…Between the log splitter, tractor, mowers, chain saws, and weed whackers, I have accumulated 4 of those 5 gallons gas carriers and a few 2 gallon sizes. In the last 15 years or more, the pouring nozzles can make it difficult to pour easily and I know it made a mess.

Found these on Amazon for about $12.00. 6 plastic pour nozzles with gaskets and caps for 2 sizes of thread and the vent caps. It even has a drill bit for the correct size.

When I had installed the new fuel tank for the Holley sniper with in-tank pump, I had a hard time lifting the can higher and holding back the safety spring loaded nozzle to refill the fuel tank. These make it really nice to pour and store

Excellent
I always search for old gas cans at yard sales, and have bought replacement nozzles like you have.
Good price by the way.
What are our elected officials thinking when they make a $2 plastic gas can cost $15 just because they force manufactures to add all the crap we have to throw away.
And the times they are a changing. I HOPE

Any chance you have a link for them?

ETA that I found them pretty easily by searching "gas can spout kit". Ordered!

@Eyedaho that is just how I found them. Funny that I actually have one jug with the odd size screw thread so the fact that they included both types was great. Filled the tractor with ease from a 6’ ladder…no spills! Some of the older filler spouts had cracked and never even sealed. When you pop that vent open it is just a smooth steady pour

I love my old NATO cans for the historical value, and despise the crappy California funky nozzles for their *^&^ value... But... I also do love my more recent No-Spill cans, those work really well. (Hope they'll keep doing that for a long time, don't know yet admittedly.) Excellent pour control, good ergonomics, auto shut off, just great cans all around. Much better than an old style plastic can with a straight nozzle, that will inevitably (for me) overflow my chainsaw and spill gas everywhere.

I gave up on the new cans years ago and switched to the VP Racing style jugs. They're good but heavy and lack a decent spout. More recently I've switched to a 20gal swap meet fuel cell and electric pump rigged to run off a Dewalt 12V battery for hauling dispensing diesel/gas. I can also pop the hose off the tank and pull directly from a can if needed.

A pox on whomever developed these Satanic, new nozzles!

I've probably spilled 10x more fuel with the new EPA nozzles over a handful of uses compared to 25+ years of fueling stuff up with the old nozzles. Insanity.

I like to drill a big vent hole and then thread a coarse thread bolt in. Being thick plastic, the bolt cuts its own thread in and seals good.

I’m a sucker for over priced Eagle gas cans from my hometown 26070. 5, 2.5, & 1 gallon sizes are perfect. Metal can with a hinged lid, removable plastic spout.
