Interesting but on my fixed end, I also have a tapered cantilever as well (so two total). Unlike the Dobinsons, the Billie is gas charged and I read it does not need to be positioned like the one pictured above.

Ok I see now….saw this picture as well and I can see how it is oriented. I’ll make the switch tomorrow.These are tapered on both ends as well.
On that end of the shock, it is a prebuilt cantilever pin that cannot be removed. You can see it is a one piece/pressed unit. Could cut it off, but easier to slightly 1) enlarge hole in steering arm (just a hair) or 2) grind down the cantilever arm a hair to allow it to sit a bit more in the steering arm. I did take it for a test drive and it seems to work well I’m just not a big fan of the way that cantilever is sitting right now.Would the stock hardware work on that end? What are you considering grinding down?
