The Velcro is toast on my third row seats and they kinda flop around when stowed. Anyone got any creative fixes for this problem?

Rip out the old velcro stitchings and sew in new sections like I did.

Or take them out and stick them in the basement... Like I did. :-P

I stapled on some new Velcro for a temporary fix. Someone here installed a snap button, that's what I plan to do.

Binder clips, my man......binder clips. :)

Tighten up the straps as hard as you can to cinch the seats against the side glass area, then put the straps together and pretend the Velcro actually works.

THEN:

Use a couple of those metal binder clips that you steal from the supply closet at work and clamp them over the straps where the Velcro is... Usually one per side is all it takes, but if your Velcro is really bad maybe go with 2 per side.

It really works! BTDT.

Drag the wife's sewing machine out to the tailgate, and (crappily) sew some new velcro on. You won't lose your man-card for doing this.

Bungie Cords work great, and double as a tie down for when you need to store stuff in the back or up on the rack.

I use a pair of tan ratchet straps from the slider to the oh poop handle. Holds very nice.

x2 on the binder clips. you can also use them on the struts of the hood and rear hatch if they're not strong quite enough to hold it up and not bash your head. had a buddy use binder clips on the struts of his pickup's camper for several years and worked great.
