What is the value of a 1993 HDJ80 with triple lockers, auto, 200K, has been US DOT legalized through a registered importer as well. Imported from the France. Just don't know if the 35K

he is asking is worth it. Any ideas?

If you cant wait 2 or 3 more years for been legal in the US I guess yeas but I don't think you should. It would be cheaper to come to Canada, take it apart, import into the US and get it registered. It will cost you prob 10k less

Even if I take it a part and put it back together it would not be legal.
It cost 15K to legalize it. So might be worth it. I would have to 5 years to buy a 93.

It would be cheaper and a lot more fun (depending on who you talk to) to get a FZJ80 wherever you are, import a front-cut from Japan with a 1HD-HT engine from Japan and put them together than pay $35,000 for that.
