How about a high res pic of that 1960 FJ25 carburator:rolleyes: Winkers are cool but something tells me they weren't original to FJ25. Same with the horn button:hhmm:

Thanks south Aussie I have never been able to get close to this truck. Your photos have told me it was a rough restore job. Several FJ40 parts original paint was cruiser blue I have one that is earlier. Cheers Fwed.

Anyone know how many years that resto has on it? Just curious.

I'm also curious about the horn button. Fwed, what does yours have?

looks like cammo30 has the oldest land cruiser in OZ his is a 1958 ...did he sell it?

i take this back supposidly there is a 1956 toyota land cruiser in oz someplace :meh:

turns out that the japanese olympic team brought one over in 1956...and then sold it privetly...now where can that truck be :hhmm:

Hi my horn button is very similar with toyota written in centre. There is supposed to be an early bj in auss some where but I heard it was modified away from std a lot. I would say Cammo 30 has the early one.

Hi the wipers are vacuum operated a hose runs from inlet manifold. The speed control is in each wiper. Cheers Fred.

Mine has the holes for the blinkers , vacume wipers and the horn button the same. I also see the id tag is not stamped like mine. I also hhave been trying to get a good look at that car. Cheers Ian.

My 25 is only 36 later in frame numbers and 245 later in F motors but it has the later horn button the same as my !965 40. I also have the holes for the winkers - Alas no winkers - Don't suppose any one has any?

Richard where did you get to see it? looks like a Toyota dealer.

Cheers Dobster

The FJ25 is currently in Adelaide at a new Toyota Showroom.
I believe it is normally residing at Toyota's Sydney HQ- but that's not proven yet.
I'll get some carby shots ASAP. If anyone wants any other specific pics I can still get some.
