Awesome bush and tracks in the pics Hulsty. Is that in the Otways? I'm heading to Cobaw tomorrow
and hoping for some challenging tracks. Cobow is about an hour north of Melbourne. Have you been there?

Nah was out the back of Warbuton. Whats Cobaw like? I've never been there. Where abouts are you? I'm in the eastside of melbourne

cheers

Few more pics from the weekends trip, really pleased with how the front suspension is working now. It still needs longer shocks but works good with the current ones (stock 80 series rears). The rear suspension does alright, its limited by tyre clearance though to the inner gaurd.

This pic is of a hill we all winched, we all took the far left line between the rocks.

Went to Cobaw yesterday. It was really challenging. Lots of rocks and really steep sections.
I'll post some pics when I get them off the camera and a vid of me going through a really deeply
rutted section.Nearly flipped it. It was a great day.

Top pics mate looks nutzz

looks like you had a few wear ya brown jocks moments. Good on ya for getting out there and using it i havnt had the chance in months!

Looks like those ARB brush bars dont work on rocks:D

Second time now lol, first time two wheels came off the ground and the drivers side was the low side!

Drivers side is bent up a coupla inches now, they saved the sills and guards from major damage though! I'll beat it down with a sledge. Then they eventually cry enough I'll make proper sliders and run the brush bars into them

Went up to Toolangi on sunday, about half an hour from home with a mate in his 80 series. Was meant to be an "easy sightseeing" day.

Ended up doing a ~100m winch up a ~30-35 shale hill. Winch motor was red hot by the end of it. Panels are abit more dented now, did another rear shocker. But today figured out my rear shocks are only stock length! not even 2'' raised! So i'm saving some pennies for some newies.

Awesome,

Were many of the tracks closed up there? Looks like you found some challenging tracks anyway. I recently got some Lovells Gen 2 shocks. Beefier than most in their price range. 100 bucks a shock and free delivery. Fleabay specials!!! Heaps better ride than the Monroe's that were on there. Could play those old suckers like a piano accordion :)

The Monroes are a bit light duty:D I had them on the 75 series ,left them there when I bought it because they were newish at the time.
I put some Tough Dogs on the rear recently and they are excellant. Cost about $180 a pair

awsum pics man you have some badass tracks

I'm running ironman shocks and I love them. The pricier ones, not the cheaper ones. I have a 75 ute tho so not sure how well they'll suit the middy, dunno if they'd travel far enough for you.

Also, the bloke in the 11th pic down from the top, head visible over your FRP roof. I think I used to goto school with him. Either that or he's a clone.
