ITEM:

It is a 1985 FJ73 LX model with a 4.0L 3F motor on duel fuel (77L useable gas) and factory petrol tank, 5spd gearbox. Cost about $35 to do 320km on 33'' rubber. Selling it with the 31'' rubber which gets it to about 370km a tank on LPG.

Has done ~365,000km Runs well, gearbox works well as does the 4x4 system. Has "shift on the fly" button on the dash for high range.

Entire diff assemblies, brakes, axels etc have done 300,000km and are in excellent condition. They are from my silver car I just bought, swapped the entire assemblies out because the red car had diff locks which I kept. Open front diff and LSD rear diff which works surprisingly well.

Car has:

ARB non winch steel bullbar
Driving lights (not fitted, wiring is all there, can fitted if required)
ARB side bar/step combination
Chrome factory wheels with 95% tread 31'' all terrain tyres (perfect for Evans 31''-33'' tyre trips!!) Spare is a half worn Bridgestone Dueler 31''
Safari snorkel
3'' High flex springs
Rear quarter chop
Extractors
2.5'' exhaust - sounds really nice
Power steering
Power windows
Air con
2 Seater with large rear cargo area
HEI electronic ignition
Factory rear bumper
Towbar
Pioneer CD player with in door speakers
Fiberglass windscreen surround
Hella head light inserts
Removable roof for summer Al fresco motoring!
Factory internal roll cage
Tinted windows

It is a very capable vehicle off road, good gearing and wheelbase, I used to run 35'' tyres with it went everywhere I wanted too.

CONDITION:

It has been used as a 4x4, so is no beauty queen up close, looks good from 10 paces though. Body is rough, abit dented etc, paints pretty good, usual scratches from 4x4 use. Very little rust, nothing that would hinder a RWC.

It is a good solid vehicle, the body, chassis and driveline are solid and tough, may not be the most pretty but it is dependable. It has never let me down out bush or anything, always starts and goes along pretty well for what it is. Heaps of grunt offroad with tough diffs, parts are cheap and easy to get, most stuff is still in recent model cruisers or heaps of different older models.

Things that I know it will need for a RWC include a new mirror lens on drivers side, mud flaps, windscreen polished to remove scratches (outside drivers view so might be ok)

REASON FOR SELLING:

No longer required.
