Thanks to vtcruiser60 for digging up the old trail descriptions! Bear in mind we've had a wet summer and that will add to the difficulty in places. I've tried to add tire and body damage outlines but these are only guidelines.

TRAIL1: Stock (Class VI Roads 1)
31's recommended, minimal chance of body damage

TRAIL2: Stock (Class VI Roads 2)
31's recommended, minimal chance of body damage

TRAIL3: Stock (Private Land)
if you are running a rig on 31's with mud tires and a locker or winch you can do this trail. It's pretty level with many ledges to climb. There are some by-passes. Small chance of body damage

TRAIL4: Stock-to-Intermediate (Near Carnage)
Lots of loose rocks on hill climbs, ledges, many bypasses. Chance of body damage.

TRAIL5: IntermediatePlus (Carnage)
We reccomend 33's and a locker/winch. Very rocky and muddy. Some steep hill climbs but mostly you'll be picking your way thru trees and over boulders. Chance of body damage.

TRAIL6: Intermediate-to-Hard (Wambus 1)
33's-35's with a locker and or winch. Many large boulders to climb, ledges, mud, etc. High chance of body damage.

TRAIL7: Intermediate-to-Hard (Wambus 2)
33's-35's with a locker and or winch. Many large boulders to climb, ledges, mud, etc. High chance of body damage.

TRAIL8: Intermediate-to-Hard (Gretchen's)
Plenty of challenges many with by-passes. Minimum 33's with a locker, , locker and winch. High chance of body damage.

TRAIL9: Hardcore (Gretchen's)
If you have to ask you shouldn't be on these trails.

Was the trail i did last year on Saturday near the power line, carnage?

NEA's Fall Crawl was this weekend. The group that ran our trail 7
didn't make it back to Gretchens until 1 AM!
Major CARNAGE!!!!!

The loop in the wood is called carnage?

What about the trail 4, "near Carnage" some driving in the power lines?

That would be correct.

How would trail 3 be for the LWB vehicles?

nicely underscoring why we MUST get trail rides on the road early and on time.

not really, do you really expect trail damage on stock runs? Time needed for any trail run is dependent on difficulty, the skill level of the participants, the setup of their rigs and the number of rigs in the group.

I personally think staggering the exit times dependent on those criteria would help keep things organized some. Have the groups with longer expected times leave first in hopes of everyone finishing around the same time at the end of the day.

That way it would be less confusing for those going to the same general area for different runs. And smaller groups traveling the roads to and from Gretchen's.

But if you want a mass exit and a 100 trucks barreling down through town I'm in!

Registration still open!

As FG quickly approaches, I'm going to fire off a few notes and "rules" these will be on a sign at check in as well.

ALL participants must check in when they arrive. We will have the check in tent (next to the bathhouse) staffed deep into the night on Thursday and Friday and from the crack of dawn on Fri. Sat. & Sun.

The fields are one way, counter clockwise for the big field, clockwise for the little one. Think of it as a heart, you come straight up the center, check in, then proceed around whichever way you are going. This will avoid traffic jams and people having to drive into the field to avoid one another.

Trailer Parking is in the back field, near the trails. If you can fit your entire trailer in your site, then that is fine but we need to avoid having trailers parallel parked along the road as it creates a real logjam.

The inner fields are STRICTLY OFF LIMITS. Do not park in them, do not drive across them. Foot traffic only please.

It's going to be wet and soft, PLEASE be courteous to the property owner and take special care not to dig up the roads and sites.

More to come I'm sure but I want to get a head start.

Are we gonna attempt a parts swap again this year? I was the only one who brought junk up last year. Any interest??

For anyone coming with kids this year we have some great items once again for the raffle. This is a KIDS ONLY raffle and all the money raised goes to Dartmouth Hitchcock's NICU. We raised almost $160 last year and that money was used to buy a digital camera and photo printer so that the nurses could take photos of the babies who aren't able to go home and give them to the parents. They were so appreciative of our donation. Lets see if we can do better this year.

Our prizes have been generously donated by:

Santa's Village
Storyland
Clark's Trading Post
NH Fisher Cats
Portland Sea Dogs
Wentworth by the Sea Hotel & Spa (2 gift bags)
Lindt Chocolate
NH Children's Museum
Six Flags New England
and more.....

There will be BINGO with prizes, a scavenger hunt, crafts and a Tread Lightly goodie bag for each child who attends.

PM me with questions or RSVP (bags are limited) to the email on the flyer above.

Thanks and we'll see you in a few weeks!!!

Sheri:cheers:

Is there info on which trail runs are full and which are not? I would like to try and get set up for 8 on Saturday with a couple of my guys from FJNE. Work has been very slow so I wasn't sure if I was going to make it or not but looks like I'll be coming up Friday afternoon for Saturday.
