Can I get a current count?

7 and 8 both days are full BUT I believe we will be able to accommodate everyone if folks can be a bit flexible. There is a lot more trails at Gretchen's now that are Intermediate-to-Hard and are the equal to Wambus.

It also looks like we will only have 1 Class VI Road run each day based on signups, but it will be a different run each day.

Only 5 days left to get those registrations in!

Going to be headded up on Thursday (10/1) leaving Pawtucket RI somewhere around 9:30 - 10:30 am if anyone wants to caravan up. We'll probably be taking back roads.

Help transporting tires to FG

I'm also headed up on Thursday morning.

I am probably going to need some help bringing the 4 Interco Swampahs up to Gretchen's for the raffle. If anyone has any extra space and is leaving from or travels through Boston, please let me know. Much appreciated!

I could probably help. If I don't have the room we can throw it them in my buddys pickup.

The Fall Gathering is next week!!!!!!

Yup, I'm an idiot, but I think I can make it after all! Having never been there, i need some input on what rides to sign up for. I'll be in a 60, ~2" SUA, 33" MT's, F/R cable lockers but my limiting factor is no sliders/skidplates. I'd like to wheel but I am not looking to beat the crap out of it like I used to especially without armor. How bad is TRAIL4?

You have no protection for the TC? If trail 4 is in the power lines, what i recall is that there is nothing hard there and lots of by pass. but don't take my word, wait till someone local let you know. I'll be in trail 4 on friday.

Hmmm... I was on Trail 4 last weekend with a bunch of lifted and armored FJCs. There's one stretch of loose / medium sized boulders in the trail where sliders and skids saw some action. The by-pass on this particular section is even worse (very muddy and full of boulders).

Not saying you can't make it w/out damage (I'm sure you can) but I know I'd be uncomfortable without rails or skids on that stretch.

nope, I was hoping i could bolt up the OE 60 skid plate s I'd have something at least, but it won't bolt up to my 62 frame.

I think it is a minimum for trail 4. Start with trail 3 on friday then you can decide what you want to do saturday!

I hope to see you there!

We got Jim's bone stock, restored FJ25 though there, you just need to be really, really careful. ;)

x2. Didn't mean to make it sound too tough. It's def. not. As Dave said, you just have to be really, really careful / slow through the sections with exposed boulders so you don't come down hard on something.

Most of the trail will be worry free for you.

The BOD has been cranking away these last few weeks finalizing everything. Shirts, stickers, catered BBQ, Saturday breakfast and coffee, trail maps, raffle prizes, kids events, registrations, insurance, etc, etc. This is going to be a GREAT event and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.

Heck, even our Canadian brothers are coming again. I call dibs on driving behind David, his exhaust smells like French Fries. :)
