I do inside sales for an Industrial Distributor. Just started in Sept. Before that I did sales @ 4WP Charlotte for almost 7 years.

Kyle

I was wondering where you went at 4WP
What happened to the Sami??
Ya got to post up some pics of those huge XML's on your 80

I'm a Medical Device Sales Rep. Looks like a pacemaker, but is used to help people with epilepsy. I just bought my second (first one had a bad frame) FJ40 and starting a 1974 frame off rebuild. I cover territory from Wilmington to Winston-Salem and travel it a lot.

Brandon

Welcome to the forum Brandon!!

Brandon I used to be a Med rep with Smith & Nephew...40K+ miles a year wasn't unattainable...so I know what you mean.

My territory was back in AL - now I'm in Semiconductor Sales - still on the road, but not nearly as much.

Welcome to the forum, hope to see you out soon!

40k+ miles is definitely the norm for me. I'm from around Dothan, AL so I know how big those AL territories are. Hopefully I'll be out soon. Little bit of body work and I'm ready to go.

Another new guy here, I am the manager of technical support for the retirement division of BB&T. Moved to raleigh about a year back. Used to work for the retirement system vendor, software shop. There I did all manner of analysis, design, requirements, and a good deal of travel.

Cool SchniperJB. I used to work for BB&T for the server implementation department out of Winston. Ordered, loaded, drove out and installed the servers into the new branches that were being acquired via merger. Merger weekends were fun!

BTW, do you know if they are hiring for any programmers? Have a good friend of mine that works here in Greensboro who's company just got bought out and they are moving them to Atlanta. She doesn't want to go. Just looking around see if there is anything.

After a short stint at a prototyping company, I've spent the last sixteen years in banking at banks big and small. I've worked for:
United Carolina Bank (UCB), First Citizens, SouthTrust, Bank of America, Countrywide & NewDominion Bank. All jobs were in Charlotte except for Countrywide which was in Westlake Village, CA - quit after 104 days when I realized I was on a sinking ship.

My current employer, NewDominion, is a small $500 million+ community bank with 2 offices (Charlotte and Mooresville) and I get to wear several hats including: Commercial Lender, Private Banker, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer and Senior Consumer Loan Approver.

If anyone ever has a banking related question, wants to run the terms of a loan by me, etc. to see if they're being taken or getting a fair deal, send me an email or PM.

My folks like in Tega Cay. They used to live right off Windjammer but recently moved to the other side. When I find a job out that way and we are better equipped to sell our current house, we will be your neighbor. I can't wait to move back to SC.

I am a sr. telecom analyst for Progress Energy. In my previous life, before we moved to the Raleigh area, I was a scada field engineer for Weatherford Int'l.

I just recently bought a 96 LX450 that I hope to have on the trails soon.

Sys Admin at a mid-size compliance company in Charlotte, moved down here in '04 for school and just bought my first house in Nov 2008.

Really, really uninteresting--but I got engaged in Dec of 2008 so that keeps things fresh! :D

Cool, another telecom geek! If you deal with Cisco at all, we have the same account team out of their RTP campus, Fred and Mary...............

**Cisco guy chuckles**

Sounds like the "tried and true" way to fix anything that is malfunctioning - just ask my wife....
