I had a total blast this weekend, this is my second run with YT, first FG ever, first camping trip in years, and it was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. HUGE thanks to Dave for putting it all together and everyone who helped out, big thanks to Woody and the whole FJ team for being rad and making sure we didn't roll over... looking forward to next year already, by then I'll have a locker and 33's, I promise!

We had a great time and met some wonderful people. As I sort through the hundreds of photos we took I figured I would throw up a couple of teasers until I get a chance to really pic them over.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible.

Saturday at Carnage with the Gotham wagons. It was fun wheeling with these guys, listening to them was like hearing an old married couple bitch to each other! : )

Anyone have any pics of Kina on that ledge from Saturday??

This was my first fg and my son and I were impressed and had such an awesome time. Dave you did a great job, I really don't think the event could of gone any better. After watching you do your interview with Toyota I see now why your the president of the club, even the camera crew was impressed, nice job. I hope that makes it to Toyota's website. I can't wait for the next event.

Oh yeah, I forgot to thank you RTac1 Saturday for winching me side ways off that tree on that steep hill Woody lead us on, so I wouldn't crunch my quarter panel. Thanks a lot I owe you

Thanks guys, it really was a big group effort this year, it couldn't have happened without a lot of hard work from a lot of folks. We'll be signing up volunteers and planning next years even after the holidays. The earlier the start, the better it is.

My first FG also and first time really getting to wheel... had such a great time!! Thank You Dave! And thanks to everyone who made it happen and all who were there, truely a great group and a great event. Also a big thanks to Lane for leading on Friday and for the spare drive shaft too! Can't wait too see more pics and for next year to come.

Good line!
Woody spotted me down the same ledge (it's steeper than it looks)
we decided to put the drivers tire on the boulder then cut right.
Not the correct line! Ass end came up real fast! Hit the gas and got real lucky!
A flop there would have hurt.

My first and def not my last FG. Had a blast. Great to meet and wheel with new people and put names to faces finally.

Will post up all my pix shortly, but one here of me a few runs before I blew the front diff and t-case. :frown:

yeah, I think it was woody spotting me down it. nothing better than having a good spotter who had just spotted a bunch of trucks down the same thing the day prior :)

They were telling us about you going over that rock when someone in our group suggested we try that line on Saturday.

here's one of my pics that shows how steep it is, and it gets steep a few feet down from where this truck is...

If anyone has other pix of my 100 pre-explosion, please post them or send 'em my way. I'd appreciate it!

Yep. Front diff and t-case.

Found a set of both used, but the pri$e difference between a used and new front diff was nominal, so I'm going with a new diff and a used t-case.

Ouch is all I can say. I'm sticking to stock trails next time.

Heard anything from Toyota yet?
