Yep thats Jimbo, he was defenitly wheeling that weekend, he had the BIG 5'er camper over in the corner of the campground. He was the driving 'push' in our group when it would slow down. The truck is living at Wallys house these days, Jim dosnt get to wheel much.

So much for that vanity plate idea....

That's me in the 80 there, and yes, I made it thru after a bit of forward and reverse action. I'm also locked front and rear, although my front wasn't playing nice and locking for me at that moment.
One of the FJ40s also made it thru going in that direction on the near side, which was deeper than the far side line I took.
I'm still getting mud out of the inside from leaving the moonroof open , which my wife was very happy about sitting in the passenger seat. There is a video somewhere and you can hear her scream about halfway thru. :grinpimp:

I was disappointed at the lack of 80s out there. Kind of assumed there'd be more... I missed the red 80 series (Chris, I think?), but saw 2 others.

Lots of awesome rigs though... can't wait for the next meet.

i'll be out there when i get back from my honeymoon...

Scott, it looked like in addition to the drought, a lot of crushed stone had been brought in. :frown: If Joe and I can find our maps I wanted to forward them to you with some notes for your use.

I know there was crushed stone dropped on that road as there was logging done on an abutting parcel. The beaver dam was also knocked over but the beavers rebuilt the dam but the drought hasn't allowed the area to be filled with water again

Yep thats not going to happen, Fawking thing is HUGE. I had rough figured it would be about 4-5ft long. cool right?

Yea... NO. At the smallest it would be about 8ft. and 6-7in tall. To get full detail (which would be kinda the point) it would be closer to 12ft long. I dont need to wall paper my shop any time soon...

Jsaltlick: thats cool! cant wait to read it!
:bounce:

They just posted the Fall Gathering video on Toyota's FJC web site

Go to section 2 "Trail Teams"
then click on videos, ours is on top.

See me shill for Toyota as if they're paying me!

See the film crew cut out 95% of what I say including me giving credit over and over again to the NEA4WDC without whom our event wouldn't have happened!
