I was thinking packard v1650. Ive got an unused P51 laying around in the garage.

How much lift do you think I'll need to install that? ;)

We'll have to see if Advance Adapters makes a kit for that application.

Who needs an adapter??? I was just going to clear the prop and use that. I will have no jaywalkers cut in front of me.

Besides, the library has a 3d printer, I'm sure I could print something that would work

like i said a few posts above...there are more expensive and powerful options......didnt say they were going to be practical ;)

I think the supercharger on the merlin/packard engines is bigger than the entire 4.5

Not practical is what we like. This past Thanksgiving, while in the DC area, I went to the Udvar-Hazy Center @ Dulles. One of DC's best kept secrets.

There they had "THE" Lycoming XR-7755. Wow ... 7755 Cubic inches!

That's just overkill. Go with something more conservative, like the R4360.

*Note: Visibility out of the front windshield may be an issue.

Its all good, we are discussing engine swap options....they dont have to be viable ones... How bout a PT6 turbine? I can run recycled veggie oil, and make everyone think im the Chuck Wagon...Would make for an interesting paint/vinyl wrap job....conestoga wagon design

Late to the party!

I like the t-shirt idea. Talked to a man at a craft show years ago and he wanted to create a line of underwear called Skid Road that had stains and dirt in all the right places.

Im not sure I can "like" that comment David. Cause that would just be wrong....funnnny as heck, but wrong. ROFLMAO

The first time I heard this I almost lost it completely as it was being told to me. Although it would be a niche market, I would bet the sales would be tremendous.
