Sweet ... will be doing something similar in a few weeks to mine ...

Fins N Things

Got into Moab kind of late yesterday and only had time to run the South portion of Fins N Things. Tons of fun. Only problem is that there was a considerable amount of snow and ice on portions of the trail. One of the super steep descents was a wall of ice that we had no choice but to slide down which resulted in a nose dive into the ground. I am definitely building a case for new front and rear bumpers :) Hopefully the rest of the trail is clear of ice so I can finish it.

Hope you have an easier time than I did! Mines a 2003 with only 60,000 miles on it, but spent it's first 7 years in Cleveland, OH. Lots of salt on the roads up there in the winter. I had to deal with a lot of rust and seized bolts. Lot's of info on this site to help you out which is good since no instructions come with the kit. The diff drop kit is the only thing that does.

Arches and Onion Creek

Visited Arches NP today did some hiking and then drove Wilow Flats out of the park. Fins N Things was cool but Willow Flats was more my speed, except it was about 100 miles too short. It was technical enough to need 4x4 in some places and had a nice wide open cross country feeling to it. Could have spent all day driving a road like that.

After Willow Flats we headed up to Onion Creek. Lots of snow, ice and creek crossings. At the end of the road things got super muddy and it made for an interesting drive back down the 10% grade section.

We have had a little bit of every kind of off highway driving on this trip. Tomorrow we are going to do some trails in Canyonlands NP.

This looks fantastic and doable.
What are your tire sizes?
You seem confident enough to not need a winch. Is it that there's not that type of terrain?

Tires are 295/75R16. All these trails are really easy. No need for a winch.

Man, Paul those pics are really awesome..Can't wait to get out there next weekend!

@Chris that is looking nice. Did you do the Slee install yourself? What are you going to do next?

Thanks Josh! I was skeptical of going with a 100 after the very nimble FJC and 4th gen 4Runner but as Romer and Nakman have said "Get a 100, you will love it"...As usual both were right. I am really digging this rig.

Slee lift not on yet. Waiting for shocks to come in. So it will look a bit different next check in.

After lift will wait for front TJM T3 to come in. In the mean time gotta get the HAM and CB installed..Checking Nakman's set up for that.

Hope to have sliders, bumpers and skids installed by late April..arghh after that I will be out of mod funds for some time.

Thanks for sharing beautifull pictures Paulbgardner ,(beautiful terrain too ).Loking forward for your next trip-pic.

This is from Red Rock Amphitheater outside of Denver, CO. We are about halfway through our roadtrip out West. Headed to Bozeman, MT tomorrow. Absolutely beautiful scenery along the trip so far.
