Nice rig and very nice photos. I live in Wenatchee and am very familiar with these locations ytou shot the photos at. This spring was very wet and cool. Not the norm for over here.

I took four days and drove through WA, ID, and MT. On the way back I came over Lolo Pass from Montana to Idaho. Just after the summit I jumped off the highway and back into the forest service roads. While driving around I noticed a fire outlook station perched on top a mountain peak that looked it would afford some amazing views. I found it and it was well worth it!

Nice trip anthony! Do they rent those lookouts in the off-season?

Blair, we are planning another trip next year that will be even better, you should come out for it! The Clearwater and Nez Perce forest areas around Idaho/Montana are freaking amazing!

They do in fact rent lookouts! You can browse them online, and they are a whopping $30 a night and sleep up to 4 people. You can only rent them during the summer season, June through Sept. Any other time you can't reach them via anything other then maybe snowmobile.
