Can you tell me out those recovery points on your TJM. Are they custom?

I got them from a 4x4 show quite a few years ago now so I can't remember for sure the make of them but if you scroll down the page a bit on this link they have some: Forgetec4x4 makers of steering guards, sump guards, jackable sills & ground anchors - Heavy Duty Swivel Recovery Point - looks just like mine.

were your factory wheels 18" ?
so you run 285x75x18 normally - are the others different wheels as well as tyres?

my factory wheels are steelies, 16x8. Factory were the Grandtreks, 275/70/16 i think.
i have Cooper STTs and we have a law not to increase the diameter from factory max by 15mm so i have 265/75/16 whereas most ppl here fit 285. Which technically is illegal.

My insurance co is Shannons which is a co that knows that ppl want to mod their car although now they offer insurance to everyone. Mine is insured with that exhaust system and the value of it went up in terms of insured value.

i'll have to call them about the 285s.
