DAMN! What kind of knife did you use to carve that???

Well a butter knife of course dclee , Isn`t that what everyone else uses ? ;)

Actually, it was my first lame attempt at making a pumpkin carving stencil. I must`ve broke at least 5 of those cheesy carving saws that come with the kits at the grocery store..

But now I know what images work best and what tools to use, so look out next year !!

Maybe this is my calling instead of being the automotive business !?

Crap.. I wonder if I will even remember this a whole year from now ?.. :(

Romania 2007 Video

Christian,

Nice footage! Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great trip.

Are you running lockers or open diffs? Any reason that you're not running larger tires with all that clearance? Gear ratio?

Tell the truth Lee, you used the BMF didn't you?

Actually Bryan, I tried using the BMF on an early prototype, but the the results were not quite what I was looking for... :flipoff2:

My first off pavement experience with my new to me 100. First impression, it is huge compared to an 80. Second impression, the lack of articulation in the front means my plans for the ARB up front is accelerated. It was just my 4 year old an I so I just took one static shot. The bumper is a TJM Classique without the bumpers and hoop installed. I'm having some custom tubing added to complete it. We did a little 15 minute loop that I've been driving for the past 10 years in all of our Cruisers.

Don't fear Eric. There's a buddy here in AZ that carbon copied my 100 (after he had already built it....he re-built in to my 100's specs) and he doesn't care about pinstripes and minor dents, etc, so he is running some wild things I've not had my 100 on yet. He's schooling everyone! On a very diffcult trail last month he handled everything just as easily as mu LX450. He did say the biggest differnece he seen between his builds was the added flex and traction of the N74L mod. It also helks keep those front wheels on the ground. Did you go N74L?

Yes, it has the N74L. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but after 6 years of wheeling 80s it is definitely outside of my comfort zone. I'm already thinking about ripping the whole front axle out and going with a solid front axle. But that won't be for 2 years.

Full link here
All of my Landcruiser pics will moved there when i get the time.

And now the new Side Steps from Cheezy Racing
PA130305.JPG

And that one is here
and the new gallery will be here when i get a chance to migrate everything

These side steps have 3 approx. 5/8" thick plates or mounting points (2.5" by 5" ) welded to the chassis on each side. (i'll confirm the actual sizes later)
Two holes are drilled in each of the three mounting points on each side and are threaded or tapped (if you prefer) to accept bolts.

Six bolts per side and the side-steps can handle the weight of the LC100 if used as a jacking up point.
Let me know if you want any further info. I'll post more pics once i figure out Gallery 2.
cheers

Little trip to Moab, also painted the door moldings black...
did you just paint the outside or did you do the "doorjams" as well. (doorjams..ie inside of the door frames, and the pillars where the doors "hit" as well) Sorry if "doorjams" is an Aussie expression...let me know.

Did you use matt black or gloss or a combo? or a Toyota recommeneded black?
thanks
peter
