Back to Death Valley, 3rd time in 6 weeks. We were there for the record high temps of 90 deg.

Spent 3 years at Ft. Irwin, lies on the southern border of DV. We used to take our hummers up there all the time, then cut over to the Mad Greek restaurant in Baker CA off the I-15. Man, those were the days. That was 1990-1993, still friends with several of the guys I served with. 'MERICA, Be well!!!!

The rarity of snow in the Las Vegas valley is such a treat and we just couldn’t pass at the idea of exploring in our own backyard. Went up Red Rock Nat’l park and crawled up to Rainbow Mountain Wilderness trail. Exhibit #1 on just how happy my 12yo was.

No mas, at 7,000 feet I had to dangerously back up on a single track road (left side was a cliff that plummets a few hundred feet down) and turn around because of the serious risks for our safety. Incline grade % was just too steep for a non-chained, all-terrain tire, CDL’d and aired down to 19psi vehicle. I underestimated the trail. Although I had to admit I was motivated to follow the Jeep on 37s before me:bang: I LEARNED TODAY. Exhibit #2 physics was not on my side.

View of Red Rock National Park on our way down after that ordeal. I can breathe now.

New here, 2nd day of 100 series ownership after years of hemming and hawing. No action/adventure pics yet but getting into the field with that intense looking dude in the driver’s seat was the impetus for the purchase. Can’t wait for the adventures to come!!

Looks great. Nice to find one that seems to be all Slee'd out! How many miles on what looks like an '07?

My team and I climbed at Redrock, love that place. Went during the summer though so one route and we all suffered heat stroke, almost died that day.
Vegas heat is one of the toughest climates I’ve seen. Dehydration here is the number cause of SAR operations here. It can easily get to 115°F here during summer with very low humidity. Glad you all are safe.

New shoes!

Finally pulled the trigger on a set of SCS F5's. Honestly, they absolutely transform the look of the LX. The offset gives it a MUCH better stance IMO.

Of course .... I was rubbing on my fenders AND my drivers side slider after getting these installed. Hammered the s*** out of the pinch weld, and just need to move the slider back a bit and I'll be good to go!
