So I have a 2020 TRD Pro Tacoma (in army green) all done up and somehow I landed myself into a 1999 LX 470 - WHY IS THIS THING SO SMOOTH!?

Anyway, just got it back from the body shop. Little before and after.

Had plenty of body damage, two big dents on the roof, wrecked fender, dents all over as well as broken lights all over the front. Score it from an auction.

Interior is pretty rough too and I’ll be tearing out pretty much everything and redoing it.

Added this workhorse to the stable. '95 F150 i6 5pd 4wd. Relevant because LX is featured, plus I know you all can appreciate an $800 craigslist purchase. These two engines will outlast out 2016 Rogue for sure! View attachment 2559353

Noice! All 95 fords have rusted and gone back to the mother earth they were originally extracted from. My 100 series is slowly getting all of it body panels replaced with either new metal or from a donor truck!

New shoes!

Finally pulled the trigger on a set of SCS F5's. Honestly, they absolutely transform the look of the LX. The offset gives it a MUCH better stance IMO.

Of course .... I was rubbing on my fenders AND my drivers side slider after getting these installed. Hammered the s*** out of the pinch weld, and just need to move the slider back a bit and I'll be good to go!

Scored a set of 18" LC wheels with Bridgestone Blizzaks for a price I couldn't say no to. The wheels are a little rough but the snow tires are so much more sure footed on the icy surfaces!

Just have a general question about how peeps get such good quality pictures. What does everyone here take pictures with? Newest Iphones or something else?

Always astonished with the picture quality.
I'm a professional photog, so, I'll tell you, but you should just spend your money on your cruiser instead..... :) I used a Canon 5D Mark3 with L-series 200mm glass, but really it's about the light and the setting - even mediocre iphones can do a great job.

No different than what we do here: Right place, right time, right equipment and someone that knows how to use it, (and little post processing doesn't hurt). I use a Nikon D850 or the Nikon Z6 with several different lenses. What I am finding really cool and have been tempted to invest in is the drone used by @95Fantasma80, he has some awesome videos with the skydio 2

After a crazy amount of research, was pretty excited to get the Alpha RTT installed last weekend, and then give it a spin on our drive back from the shop in LV. Awesome setup and can't wait to go adventuring.

(and we're new owners of this LX470 and this was first time offroad - it handled this difficult trail up to this BLM campspot flawlessly. In fact, several other campers were already set up but much lower on the mountain...and this was the best location, but only "easily" accessible as it was for this 100 series)
