Thanks! It’s The white rim trail in Canyonlands NP.
That's what I thought. Not to ruffle any feathers here, but do you think it is doable in a Subaru? A X5 even?
Have been trying to get my buddies to come along for a trip to Canyonlands and they don't have a lifted LX470

90% of the trail is really mellow and totally doable in either of those vehicles. However there are a few spots on the trail that would be pretty sketchy. There are a few spots that you have to do a little crawling, and then there's a really sketchy climb up to campsite Murphy hogback that I wouldn't feel comfortable doing unless I had good low range. The biggest factor for me however would be that you are so remote. If one of those vehicles breaks or gets stuck (to the point you cannot rescue them), then it is a haul to get back to anyone.

We did it in July (bad idea), and we were the only ones on the trail. If we would have broken down mid-way, it would have been a 4-5 hour drive back (booking it) to the ranger station. I would look and see if any of the rental companies in Moab allow their rentals on the trail, because you would be better off in a jeep than those vehicles you mentioned. Awesome trail, but committing trail at the same time.

Zane and I saw a Rav4 when we went in May that must have crossed the Green when it was at least 2-3 feet deep o_O Must have been a rental haha.

Pic...tis the season for leaf peepin!

Got around to installing my 2" wheel spacers today and then hit the trails for some gun range time.

Doesn't look steep here, but I got high enough that it actually cut the engine off because it wasn't getting gas or something. Started right up afterwards though.

Took the family out in the Talladega national forest to do some camping. Found some fun roads and an awesome camp site.

It looks like my windshield was previously replaced by an incompetent buffoon. The glass slipped a little and the seal at the top was not completely effective.
Consequently it began leaking and developed rust. Eventually that caused the glass to flex and finally crack.
Now I not only have a cracked windshield to deal with, I also have to repair the rust on the top edge

Scheduled my truck to undergo a surgery later this month. A body shop with take care of the rust before Safelite will come and replace the glass.

My all-time favorite trail. Expect a HIH in that area in the coming years. It's something we've been working on for a while. We have friends that live full time in Cooke City and things are in the works.
