First milestone, celebrated in a cool place out on the road with some cool people too!

Pics from a recent trip out near the border. I didn't stop and linger to see what kind of stock they had on the "La Mota" ranch. The other photo is a shot of the Cienega mountains. I really would like to get up there one day but they appear to be mostly private.

That's it... I'm going laces out next time I get tires. This looks terrific in my opinion.

Thanks! I'd like to take credit, but the previous owner had bought the KO2's (285/75/16) and had them mounted that way. I typically go letters in, but I have to admit, they've grown on me.

Goffs School House finally was open when I went by (near the Mojave Road and Route 66). Dennis Casebier was instrumental in getting it restored AND for getting the Mojave Road a designated route and keeping the land grabbers at bay. Absolutely beautiful late summer day haha, 75 degrees, sunny and a gentle puff of a breeze

Looking east along the Mojave Road. That thin, tan ribbon is the road...

Getting ready to gobble up some of the Mojave Road, west of Piute Pass and the first real time that you can break off some miles without crawling over a rough two-track

Great pictures!

I have spent many of hours out on Goff’s road growing up chasing quail with my grandpa. I’ll be taking my cruiser out there in a few weeks. I’ll make sure to post some pictures.

It snowed here last night, just a little bit. My first time driving the LX in snow.
It was very sure footed on straight line and even when changing lanes.
But the rear was happy to swing out at the slightest provocation in turns! This surprised me a bit since I have snow rated tires and and a factory LSD rear. Are all 100s this playful in the snow?
