Went with the Smittybuilt XL, for the size and price it's a great deal.

Finishing up 4x4labs jerry can holder kit. tacked and welded up in under an hour. Great fit @Luke111

Your answer is a few posts up. They seem pretty cool, but you'd be better off walking into a local fab shop. They should have material on hand or can get it and bend it up. May cost you $30+ for 4.

They're quite literally dime a dozen over here, the 1HZ and 1HDTE are much more popular (and thus expensive). I looked at 4 other FZJ105s before I bought this one.

Did USA never get the solid axle 100 series? The pick of the bunch in Australia is the HDJ105, factory turbo diesel with live axle front end, and coil sprung all round

No. All the 100 series in the US have IFS. No solid front axle.
