Hey there, new member and 100 owner so figured I'd do an introduction here I guess (if you're in the TLCA Facebook Group, you may have seen my post there as well). Bought a 98 this month as my first Cruiser/4x4 and have a long ways to go before it looks as good as anything here. Coming from a G35, so no real firsthand experience as far as 4x4s go but I've been in the market for a Toyota truck for about 6 months and have lurked quite extensively. Some info if anyone cares: 2 owner, rear locker, "fully loaded," 169k on her. New England truck so I have a little bit of work cut out for me as far as rust goes (it isn't bad at all -- not for the price I paid, it's mostly surface and just needs attention). Thanks.

I think I commented on that post. Welcome to mud!

Great day of fishing, until the end. While taking down the awning, freak breeze came up and folded it like a taco. Nothing I could do, I was standing right there. Over in 5 seconds, only damage was the broken plastic hinges and some scratches in the paint.

I had the same thing happen with my fox wing, I couldn’t stake it due to being on a rock shelf so I had it tied to as big of rocks I could find. The wind burst picked up a 15 lb rock 4 feet , luckily missing the cruiser, and I bent 3 poles, broke the hinge and 2 plastic ends. I was able to field fix it with jb weld and the supplied spare ends. But now if I can’t stake it properly with 2 ropes per pole, I don’t deploy it

I've only had my LX for a couple of weeks, but I finally managed to get it off road this morning. This was my first time off-roading ever and it was awesome.

Saw this bad boy at Grand Tetons Resort...all the way from Maryland! Looked great in between all the fancy cars.
