Welcome, many of us here are BMW owners as well. I have an e46 M3 as well, they make a nice suited couple

I have noticed that a lot of 100 owners also have e46 or other generation M3 and a lot of the 200 guys have 911s- interesting.

Photo in case anyone is wondering what a stock crusier looks like next to one with 285s, OME 865 coils and 1in spacers

Perhaps a 911 is in our future? Hehe.

Side note: my buddy owns a dark red 200 and a hellrot E30 M3. I got him into BMWs after being a VW/Audi diehard and he got me into the LC/LXs. Needless to say our friendship has been an expensive (and fun) one, haha.

Sounds like I’m in good company. I agree, they complement each other.

I have an ‘88 911 and an ‘06 100. I absolutely love each one. Such amazing machines!

Here’s the Cruiser on a test run to Hollister Hills with a new Dissent rear bumper installed

I have noticed the same thing! I am a former e46 owner, a current (and probably lifetime) 100 owner, and (fingers crossed) a future 911 owner. We must all have good taste.

The two best vehicles in the world and I own them both, 05 LC and E39 M5, they do truly complement each other and fill all my automotive needs.....unfortunately both are expensive to maintain.........

Marin County, CA. 403K miles on my 1999. Mods, K&N air filter! Original engine, tranny, diffs, etc. etc. etc. Valve covers have never been off. Problems, my 'D' is out on the shift indicator and I wore out the steering wheel.

Beautiful rig and boat!

Waaait wait one sec...403k on original everything except air filter??? That's extremely impressive!! Yet another example to validated the engineering, longevity, reliability, robustness of these vehicles. Next stop is half a million and many more to come after that!

Sorry, replaced usual parts that wear (front wheel bearings once, water pump, usual timing belts as needed, 3-4 ignition coils, radiator once, AC compressor, shocks, brake rotors. That's it. The only non-factory anything are the BFG K02s, KYB shocks, one K&N air filter.

Man, can't believe how many 100 owners also have 911s! I've got a 2006 pacific blue LC and a 1990 964 C2. Both cars, when you look at the details and engineering seem overbuilt/over-engineered.

Also, my brother-in-law has a 2005 LC and a 997.1 GT3.

Between the two of us, we've had some pretty cool fun cars. Some of them include a '98 Integra Type R, '00 S2000, '08 Cayman S w/ TPC turbo, '98 RSP SC400 w/ 2JZ swap, '08 STi, B6 S4, E36 M3, E46 M3 and an E90.

Love these trucks/cars and the enthusiasts behind them!

@jeff elkins - beautiful seacraft. Is it a Potter hull? 21 or 23?

Agreed.

Post a pic of that Pacific Blue Cruiser!

Thanks and that is an 1986 20'. While the same Potter variable dead rise hull mold, beam, deck, etc. it was made under the later Tracker era just before Bass Pro. Purists look down on these later boats, but this era has a very nice console, teak, high quality hardware, hatches, layout, etc. and is completely intact after fishing heavily from Cape Cod to Miami/Florida Keys to now California on the flats, rivers, and off-shore since I've owned and and moved around the US. The '81 Merc .225 (2.4L) pushes it along to an honest 50mph on GPS with full fuel and gear.

Love the grab rail on the console. I haven't seen too many with something like that.

Hopefully, I'll be looking for a 20/21 Seacraft or 21 Contender in the next 3-5 years. Like you mentioned, I like the versatility of the hulls in different conditions (chop, swells, etc.) and with a small child, prefer the higher gunwales compared to some of the newer hybrid bay boats.
