A little time out at the farm with my boys

Spent 1/2 day in Bald Eagle State Forest, PA. Entered the SF from the south New Lancaster Valley Road. It has well groomed gravel roads and sections of bumpy rocky roads, shown in the SF map as drivable trails. These are stock 4x4 friendly roads, I used 4 low only to manage the speed over the bumps. Great place to explore, I only scratched the surface in 4 hours. The roads are well marked at all intersection and on the map. Note: The the multi use trails marked in purple are not for 4x4's, they mean a on/off road licensed motorcycle. The leaves are turning color and just beautiful.

Here is the two trails I hit. If you want more interesting trails look for "drivable trails" that go up or down the contour lines. Below is the state trail map, it's very well done.

I will go back to explore again and it might be real challenge with 4-6" of snow
who makes that front bumper????? looks awesome. nice rig

Thanks, I have enjoyed building it up and I love driving it. The bumper is the slee offroad blueberry bumper.
Love it! I wish they built a stripped down rear that matched the front. I don't need the spare tire ladder stuff. Looking for something clean like the front bumper

Give them a call, I had a chat with Cristo and at that time he seemed to have some options. My memory is that they had spindles but due to some issue they were not standard.

Camped at Petit Jean State Park with my girlfriend this past weekend and had a great time! Between the 4 different overlook vistas, multiple caves, and an endless number of hiking and driving trails you will never run out of things to do while you're there. If you don't know, legend has it that in the 1700s a young woman from Paris named Adrienne Dumont was engaged to a French nobleman & explorer named Chavet. Chevet was granted permission by the King to explore part of the Louisiana Territory in the New World, but refused to allow his fiance to accompany him due to the dangers of the trip. She ended up disguising herself as a young boy, got a job working on the ship, and received the nickname "Petit John" (Little John) by the other crew members. Long-story-somewhat-short, she became very ill and the French nobleman found out that this 'boy' was actually his fiance. Her dying wish was to be buried on top of the mountain where she spent most of her life overlooking the river below. Some say her spirit gives "the mountain and overlook an enchanting quality that draws visitors back again and again." All I know is it's beautiful this time of the year!

Don't forget to check out dissent offroads bumpers ;)
I can do a no swingout option however, the tire will not fit underneath with my high clearance rear bumper.
Mike at bump it offroad can make you a no swing option and retain the factory spare location.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Ben.

@dfinn how was Kikis? Seemed hit or miss on the reviews I've seen.

It was good. I'd probably stay there again. It seems like most of the bad reviews are either about people partying or how tightly they cram vehicles in there. I could see both being true but when we were there the place was dead, maybe 5 other trucks.
