When did you ride Mac? Is that Jay in front? I feel left out.....

Monday night. That was Cho. I don't think I could have caught jay that easily.

I almost texted you (and jay) for that ride, but I only got about 45 minutes notice. I'm out of town till the weekend, but i'll let you know when and where if I go this weekend.

My bad, the text was a little misleading. I had nothing to do with the video other than finding the link. And wishing to ride a studded mtn bike in the snow.

I really dug the night/side shots.

Yeah they were sweet. I suppose it was someone's local ride though. lol

Here are a few of our local crew on SLO trails.

Ha! Yea, that was while still in college. Now most of us have jobs that don't wait on the side lines for injuries and pay for our own health insurance.

A few are still racing pretty seriously though.

Wait 'til you have kids. If your experience turns out anything like mine, you'll be grandmother-ing a descent that you used to bomb WOT -- and braking even more -- wondering when you turned into such a pussy and realizing it's completely irreversible. Ahhh the glory.

That's pretty sweet. Head tube mount? Can't see your suspension working, but I can see you driving that front wheel.

GoPro's fixed mounts are much quieter than Contour's.

The opening stretch of trail in that video makes me wish I lived someplace where an everyday ride might have a descent longer than a city bus ... I have to pedal for every mph. lol

Yeah, head tube mounted, I'd like to try the chest mount, I've liked that angle on the youtube videos I have seen so far.

Riverside Park is relatively flat! :D I'll snap a video of Beacon Hill trail 20 from top to end.... Way fun, must be about 10-15 minutes of down... :D

ACME Mapper 2.0 beautiful winding flowing single track all the way down.

Cool videos.

I typically use 960P 30FPS, my video editing software can't do slow mo on anything other than 30FPS clips which sucks.

This was shot Monday on my brothers Contour HD:

Sweet video. Nice terrain. Where is Unspecified Metal Mt.?

I shoot in "Tall" mode when I use my Contour too. I think it's the 960 x 30fps you describe. Shows the trail better than the long, flat widescreen you get shooting 1080. I'm just toying with faster frame rates -- that should actually make your slow-mo look better.

That is Iron Mountain, Poway CA. It's a few miles from moy huse, good after work ride. Some pretty challenging technical rock sections.

I need to find a program to convert my 60FPS footage into 30FPS that's twice as long so I don't lose resolution, then import it into my Studio HD to do the slow mo stuff. My some strange reason Studio HD won't change the speed on any clip other than 30FPS.
