Just picked a Coleman Gas Lantern at an auction. It came in a blue metal box..pics when I get home!

I also had to have this old bus extinguisher box, which I plan on clear coating and mounting between rollbar when the jumpseats come out .

Lantern is model 228f white gas. I doubt the mismatched blue box came with this lantern in it. Thoughts?

Very cool, looks like the blue box goes with my two blue lanterns from the first post.

The Cullowhee Ladies Room

I have to tell a story about this chair.
We were going on a small exped run to Cullowhee, Jason, Alex, I dunno-maybe Logan!
J wanted me to bring Jeri. I told him she doesn't like to poop in a cat-hole.

So jfz80 told me to assure her that with two eagle scouts on the team she would be as comfortable as at home. We camped up at the west bald and they set up this rig (complete with hole and spade) just over the rim so you could sit there and enjoy the incredible view in complete privacy and comfort.

I miss Da Whee.

Great score al!

This has probably been best 9 dollars spent at Walmart
No sense in roughing it while over landing right?
Comes with coffee n TP holder :D

Question.. mosquito netting - is it all pretty much the same? Or is there some superduper GFY version that is better than most? We put up a hammock and I want some good netting to go over it..figured this would be best place to ask..

Finally got around to using the Vintage Coleman I found a few years back. Since then we were still using my propane grill with the toaster oven but we gave that away to before we moved.

Worked fine right off the back, I actually expected I may have to rebuild a few things. Fits great in my camp kitchen. Also aired out the Oz tent this weekend and went and re-bought a bunch of camping gear we gave away before moving.

I used sheer black curtains from Amazon for my hammock bug net. There are plans online. Since there were two curtains in the package, myt wife made two bug nets. I haven't had a chance to use them but for $6 for two, I don't have much invested.

Another yard sale find, will replace my current plastic knife set up.

We finally got to use the awning and sand anchors at Freeman Park yesterday. Setup and tear down of the awning took a little time but for the amount of shade it provided, it was awesome.
