Cool axe, not inexpensive

at that price, i would just build one. its not like its that complex.

Yet another water container, reasonable price and I kind of like their story.

Yea, I found those guys a while back and thought: hey awesome, that's what I want ....then saw the prices....ouch. But I doubt you can get it for less considering what is involved. There is another place on the island that does portal axles as well.

Exact axles, not sure if they are around.. Me and John worked with them on a set of hybrid high nines..

But the idea of bolting on a portal to cruiser axles.., WOW....

These water containers were a great idea 60 years ago and still are today, especially if storage space is a premium. Also, pretty hard to beat the price.

I believe so, that is a great price on those axles considering whats in them.. The person selling them works at Woodgrove Chrysler, local jeep wheeler.. was building them up for his jeep until he realized how wide they would beo_O...

High nines need a special oiling pump in the third to oil the upper pinion bearing..

why not just use the rest of the rig that the axles come with for a balanced vehicle instead of making home made contraptions?

Guess it would hard to drag a unimog through our trails, those axles are more suited to bigger trails like at Moab or Rubicon.
