Lots of questionable upgrades in the past...had GTO covers, red hubcaps, orange tow hooks, blue toyota logo...but that is all gone because my 100 series has hopefully take a turn for the better. Since I do have this subforum now and since a lot of my upgrades have to do with lighting, I will keep a running record of my build here.

Current mods:
ARB 03+ combination bar
Pioneer AVIC touchscreen with ipod integration
SLEE offroad tube sliders
Depo Faux-06 headlights
Quadxenon projector retrofit(Thank you to the retrofitsource.com!)
Morimoto HID kits for the projector retrofit; 5000k
Tinted windows
Home brew storage/drawer system with integrated subwoofers
Full LED interior setup
7w CREE LED reverse lights
triple 15" LED lightbars on factory roof rack(details on the rack and mount will be in this thread as well)
Nitto 305/70/16 Terragrapplers
Black powdercoated Lexus LX470 wheels(thanks to R3 finishing in Santa Clara)
Lightforce 170 6.6" striker lights with 75w HID retrofit
Bumpitoffroad.com high clearance rear bumper(powdercoat thanks to R3 finishing in Santa Clara)

Parts on deck:
Fourrunner's swingarm tire carrier kit

Doing the 03-05 grille conversion. Thanks Bamachem for the great deal!

Paint for time from here:
Automotivetouchup.com Touch Up Paint, Aerosol Spray Paint and Touchup Paint Accessories | AutomotiveTouchup | 888-710-5192

Color chart attached
Do you have a Napa paint supply store anywhere around you? I've found that it's a lot more economical for Napa to mix paint for me rather than order it online from these touch-up places.

You can also get an enamel rather than base/clear for trim stuff...makes it a lot easier for touch-up!

Anyway, just another option for you to look at and compare prices. Good luck!

Visited the napa auto store, they are about 20% cheaper and no shipping charges:) awesome advice! thank you!

Fresh out of the oven! Also with bigger spindles:)

Thanks to fourrunner for the dual swingout DIY kit at a very reasonable price!

Thumbs up to R3 finishing in Santa Clara for the great powdercoat job! They have done my old front bumper, rear bumper and wheels and was impressed every time

BIOR bumper is officially on! Lessons learned, start the cut with an angle grinder then finish off with a hacksaw to get a nice straight vut. I went through 3 or 4 sawzall blades but its my first time using one of those so it is fine. Paint and prime your cut

I also did a mod which allows you to run a thin spare(or regular size spare) depending on how low you can stand the tire hanging down. Good for the city slickers out there and maybe 2 spares possible when you are not doing rocky trails

Also, thanks to AKALumbajak who is now the proud owner of an FJC! He also helped me with this entire install of the bumper! As welll as install his ARB!

More photos of the finished product. To run the spare without vibrations you will need to do the "raising spare tire" mod. It is a matter of using spacers and flipping the other bracket of the tire mount. I will post a link when I find it

As far as tools and hardware used for the bumper install, I had to buy new 12mmx30mmx1.25 bolts because the oem toyota ones were corroded. Mike supplied the forward 4 bolts (14mm) but the others were to be reused from the hitch. I opted to use 8 mounting locations for the new bumper(compared to 6 on the oem hitch)...I am trying to source 40mm long m12x1.25 bolts so I can run lock washers in the inner location. Sawzall is nice and bent, be careful and always wear goggles

Thanks FOURRUNNER(mud member) for the great pricing and quick shipping! I ordered the dual swingarm kit minus the spindles and bearing housing because I got those with the HD spindle assembly from comp4x4

Really excited to get this project started! Now I have to get some latches, gas struts and locking pins from Mcmaster. Hopefully Fourrunner releases that triple can carrier soon! Hoping to make the second swingout modular to attach a bike carrier or can carrier depending on what I need. Hi lift will be adapted using some round tubing on tire carrier side, I'll also be adding a brake light on that side Planning to make the swingarms match the contours of the bumper and also aiming to make the swingarms are as short as possible so that I can open them even when my trailer is attached

I don't know when I'll have time to weld everything up so for now I covered up the spindles with some pvc tubing and end caps to protect them from the elements.

Did a small update to the interior today! Hope to do the radio/climate control trim tomorrow. Also, to those that sell the cf vinyl, pls pack the vinyl in a tube rather than in a big box covered in an even bigger box...
