The HJ found a lady friend ;)

We continued to a place my brother visited before: an old abandoned race track Spain Sitges-Terramar:

Autódromo de Sitges-Terramar - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Google Maps

We drove around it but no way to access, it is used for events.
My brother was on this track as a passenger when cars were tested and he says it was very hard to reach the top lane because the engine needs a lot of power to climb.

Time to go desert and deserted, we drove in empty river beds ignoring the possible flash flood.
I runned up a empty river at night for a few miles looking for a road and it got spooky, running back downhill I imagined water rushing towards me

No place to turn... again, did not flip the HJ but got close, road was smaller than the tires :hillbilly:

Another empty something :popcorn:, Nice houses are build in the rocks, some old factory and the doors in the background are some kind of garages with side tunnels for storage;

Close to the desert this was a nice point of view, especially because a few meters away there was a steep cliff :slap:

From the other side, we were close to the antenna group on top, would have been a nice fall downhill.

Some typical old watchtower, many to be found:

Last camp in Spain, next to the sea and an abandoned cement factory, time to take the ferry to Morocco!

So at 12 at night the boat leaves from Almeria to Melilla (Spanish Africa).
We arrived 15 minutes before leaving and I bought the tickets and my brother was urged to drive the cruiser on the boat, the captain wanted the doors closed
Boat door closed and off we went! now the journey somehow got started!

The ticket was 172 euro for the cruiser and two people (needed car papers and passports), no sleeping cabin (is 100 euro extra), just drive trough the guarded harbor gate and buy a ticket at the office.

Some tech inbetween, testing oil pressure switch because it stopped working when I used the wire for anti theft :wrench:
No pressure (engine off) is (- negative/ground) contact so with running engine no pressure is contact means the EDIC switches the engine off.

Test with slight flow from air compressor if it switches between 0,3 Bar (so pressure means no connection).

It is very difficult to get the old oil pressure switch out!:wrench::mad:

Use #27 to get it to move a tiny bit , a socket wrench will not fit and touch the starter motor so use a wrench spanner.

The new one was #24 and also very difficult to insert and turn, if it drops (when) get under the chassis to retrieve it :banana:

HJ60 oil pressure switch cut open, small membrane with rubber O-ring and spring.
It was dirty with typical white electicity erosion and the membrane was pushed in and the metal plate was not making contact with the contact on the oil/engine side.
Like there was oil pressure even with engine off!

Maybe it can be repaired with some air/wd40 stuff and use air pressure from the side that is sticking, so in my case first air pressure from screw side, then from oil side to get it moving again.
Red straw from wd40 spray-can and the membrame is showing the oil side:

Also used the stuff that @odingski mentioned.

This stuff works great to remove scratches in the windows, I had 4 scratches in the front windshield.
The wiper had been wiping over some dry mud and just kept scraping off sand.
So always clean the window when mud is on it!

2 OZ Glass Polishing Kit Cerium Oxide Polishing Powder and 2 Felt Bobs Wheels:
US $10.50

Do not do everything in one time, it takes a lot of work! just do 10 cm at a time.
Use tape to only show the piece that needs polishing.
Use plenty of water also for cooling.
When wet the stripe is gone, look from inside or wait for dry glass

Cerium Oxide is the best polishing powder to glass scrach because the chemical and physical reaction. China produced 80% of Rare Earth . Easy to use, just mix powder with water and apply to the glass surface with the polishing felt to restore lightly scratched windows, mirrors, tabletops, windshields, glass tables, shower screens, windscreens, fish tanks, even car headlights to like-new condition

The best value for money, every item is nearly half price of other ebay competitor.

Instructions:
1. Clean the area you're going to work on thoroughly. Be sure there is no dirt or grime on the glass, as this may result in additional scratches once you start buffing.
2. Have two small plastic tubs ready; quart or pint sized containers work well. Fill one halfway with water.
3 . Place your polishing wheel into the water; let it become thoroughly damp, but not dripping wet.
4 . Put some of Cerium Oxide into the empty tub, and add enough water to create a slurry (a thin, paste-like mixture).
5. Attach the dampened polishing wheel to your electric drill and dip it into the slurry.
6. Place the polishing wheel on your work area, use small size felt wheel if scrach is near corner of windows ; keep the wheel moving in an up and down and circular motion. Be sure that the slurry does not dry up, as this could cause your glass to overheat and crack. If your slurry is becoming dry, you can spritz it with a spray bottle full of water.

Please note it is for light hair line scratches, surface marks, water stains only , if you can catch or feel scratches with your finger nail it's probably too deep to recover damage with cerium oxide powder , pls buy my glass abrasive process kit in next month, I will list soon .

For 8 OZ, 4 OZ polishing kit and additional 2'' , 3'' felt and powder pls search in my shop.
This is a DIY item, buyers are responsible for the results, if you are not sure the job you are doing, please ask me and I will try to help and give honest opinion,or you can do your own research on using cerium oxide, there is plenty of information on the net(youtube),I will always resolve any genuine customer problems, but please Do Not buy my items if you have any intentions of leaving other than positive feedback.
Glass is a very hard material and the polishing can be a time consuming and slow process, you need to be careful and patient with a lot of hard work and effort to get a good result. So please consider these facts before buying and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
