This how my door lock actuators fixed:

-open the motor (actuator)
-clean
-then then remove the small plate and weld both sides with a thin wire.

Or just buy the @jonharis ones, open, replace, and BOOM!

Done!

If the new motor is plug&play? Otherwise this fix is perfect option. The locks now run like new.

Thanks

Sent @jonharis a PM 10 days ago. Still haven't heard back yet... There was another guy lookng for him as well on the Toyota/Lexus Door Lock Actuator Group Buy NEW!!! thread...

This is why you will need this fix ...
If you can reach the motor, fixing it is a BREEZE!

The motor torque is restored like new, I can't believe it.

@jonharis is a long time guru here and very reliable seller. He's currently on an extended trip participating at FJ Summit. I'm sure he'll get to you about your orders as soon as he can. To the original OP, nice work getting to the motors, but I think I'd replace with a super cheap part rather than fix. But it's your truck, your call.

Many, if not most, of the sellers on here are not only enthusiasts but also hobbyists. It's especially the latter that do us all a big favor with sourcing parts that most other vendors don't want to deal with

Fixing with cheap part is a great thing!, but opening the motor and fixing it is also super easy if you can't get the part.
Good luck

Resurrecting this thread. Going to try an emergency repair of my FJ62's driver's side solenoid (which may be unsaveable since I suspect it somehow got water in it that's freezing and corroding the works). Will post my results with extra pics if the solenoids are similar, for the sake of the 100 section and the 60 section.
